Thai food is presented differently all over the world because it has immense potential for self-expression and change.
Thai food is a reflection of the authentic Thai culture and the environment, highlighting the values and ingenuity of the Thai people.
Thai food offers a complex show of taste, texture, and colour. The meals are intricate and thoroughly prepared, and Thai chefs know how to pay attention to all the details that concern taste and presentation. Apart from its presentation, taste and texture, Thai food is renowned for its medicinal properties. The ingredients are not only fresh and healthy, but they have very specific curative benefits that strengthen your immune system.
Lelawadee Restaurant understands these things about Thai food and strives to conserve the original Thai spirit through the meals as well as the atmosphere. Although there are several good places with Thai food in Siem Reap, Lelawadee Restaurant comes with a unique selling proposition.
Firstly, all the meals are prepared by Chef Panithan, an energetic 25-year-old Thai cook. Chef Panithan is well-versed in the art of Thai cuisine, with a passion for his motherland’s gastronomy.
Secondly, the meals are prepared with Thai ingredients shipped directly from Thailand to ensure you get a dining experience that resembles as closely as possible eating authentic Thai food in Thailand. Located in Wat Damnak Village, Lelawadee Restaurant is minutes away from the Old Market and Pub Street. You can’t miss the restaurant, with its beautiful green garden, brown walls, modern angular roof and two-storey setting.
The indoor room is equally appealing, with extremely comfortable, plush green chairs, wide tables and ceiling-to-floor windows. Lelawadee Restaurant has a varied menu, with delicious dishes such as Penang (Thai Curry), deep-fried fish spicy salad, Chicken Teriyaki, fried rice, or French fries. The drink menu is generous too, with various coffee and tea specialities, along with a few soft drinks and beer options that go with every dish.
