DID – Dine in the Dark: Siem Reap is a good cause restaurant, established in 2018. They offer a wide range of fine local flavours, served by visually impaired team members. All our team come from a local NGO called Krousar Thmey School in Siem Reap. The menus is a surprise and they won’t tell you what to expect beforehand! It is unique experience eating in the dark, and helping visually impaired people.

DID – Dine in the Dark: Siem Reap is the third opened restaurant of this brand. The restaurant opened its first venue in Bangkok before opening a second venue in Phnom Penh.
In December 2018 we are very happy to announce a third restaurant in an emblematic city, Siem Reap, city of the Angkor Wat temples.
DID – Dine in the Dark is a business, a restaurant, not a NGO, but with a strong social purpose and commitment, all our service staff in the Dark room are visually impaired, blind people. We provide them a sustainable employment as well as making the world discover their exceptional skills and ability to perform service jobs.
We recruit them mainly from the Krousar Thmey school in Siem Reap, and all our team come from various Cambodian provinces. We trained them to the service and food and beverage position jobs.
These people, our DID team we call them guide as they are much more than waitress and waiter they are your guide and they will assist you through your entire experience at our restaurant.
We serve fine local flavours and a wide variety of drinks. We offer the possibility to choose between a Khmer set menu and a vegetarian set menu. All this menu are surprise menu and we won’t tell you anything before you eat it. You’ll have the pleasure to discover picture and recipes of what you just have in our lounge area after your experience.
