Lava Restaurant

Lava Restaurant is situated to the north of Siem Reap’s center. Although it is nearby to the main tourist area of the city, it’s equally far enough from all the excitement and commotion. Nearby, the Siem Reap River is a view you can admire from the outdoor garden, along with the luxuriant river promenade.

The building has a beautiful, traditional design and architecture. The wooden house with a large, verdant and lush garden is beautifully decorated. Inside, red and brown are dominant colors, while the lighting enhances the cozy mood.

The beautiful paintings with Asian motifs create a traditional, friendly atmosphere. As such, Lava Restaurant sets the mood to enjoy authentic Khmer and Asian delicacies, though its extensive menu features specials from the Western cuisine. All the meals are carefully created with locally-sourced organic vegetables, grown at the restaurant’s own organic farm.

The fresh, succulent ingredients enhance the savor of your meals, but the chefs take special care in arranging the meals on your plate to achieve the perfect balance of color. The restaurant is open between 6 am to 11 pm and boasts 130 seats for tourists who want to enjoy a fine dining experience with mouth-watering delights.

The extended menu starts with delicious appetizers like prawn, calamari, spring rolls, and French fries. You can order a succulent Beef Tataki Salad or a sweet-tasting mango salad to follow the appetizer. Popular soups include the miso soup, proher soup, as well as the famous Cambodian delight Hot and Sour soup.

The options for the main course are more extended. You can choose various vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, from fried rice to Phat Thai, Khmer curry and a wide range of Italian Spaghetti. You can also choose wok-prepared meals like the char-grilled eggplant or traditional Asian delicacies on the sizzling hot plate.
