Café Indochine Restaurant

Café Indochine is one of the coziest and enchanting cafes in Siem Reap. It’s also one of the oldest-running in the city, with a tradition of serving Khmer delicacies and authentic Asian cuisine.

The café impresses its guests through its historical wooden architecture, while the small outdoor garden is enchanting. The building was originally the Angkor headquarters of UNESCO, and it still keeps some of the antique furnishings and the storm lamps, which build a melancholy, romantic atmosphere.

The ground floor can accommodate 60 people in a refreshing room with air conditioning, while the first floor with its traditionally decorated terrace can accommodate another 80 guests. Guests who want to enjoy their meals in this garden can do so in a comfortable, private environment with just 20 seats available. In total, this café is wide enough for 160 people.

Café Indochine is situated in the center of Siem Reap, with easy access to most nearby sights, as well as the Night Market and the Old Market, so it’s no wonder that it’s so popular. However, even when the café is bustling with people, the atmosphere remains intimate.

Tourists and locals can enjoy lunch between 10:30-14:30 and dinner between 17:30-21:30. Coming under new ownership in 2015, Café Indochine is renowned through its top-quality hospitality and friendly service.

The restaurant’s tradition has always been romantic dining and serving delicious Royal Khmer meals. The diversified menu comprises tasty Khmer classics like Cha Kroeung, Fish Amok, and Lok Lak, all of which are smoothly fragrant.

Café Indochine has some Western delicacies as well, such as French salads and nutritious Italian pasta. The local Steak House has the most enticing beef fillet, made from locally-sourced beef, and garnished with a wide array of sauces, such as blue cheese sauce, red wine, and green pepper.
