If you want to enjoy an award-winning entrecote in Siem Reap, don’t miss Charcoal l’Entrecôte, a bistro café conveniently located on 120 Wat Bo Road.
Charcoal l’Entrecôte is a French-inspired restaurant. Gourmands from all over the world are familiar with Le Relais de l’Entrecôte, a Parisian restaurant founded by Paul Gineste de Saurs in the late fifties. With a similarly elegant and haute-couture atmosphere, Charcoal l’Entrecôte aims to offer its guests enchanting dining experiences.
Although inspired by a famous Parisian locale, Charcoal l’Entrecôte gets its name from its flagship dish, the award-winning steak of Siem Reap that won the silver medal in 2018’s international competition.
The dish features entrecote sourced from New Zealand, prepared over charcoal for a poignant, fumy tang. But the real gem is the house sauce that accompanies this steak. The sauce is made in the owner’s private kitchen, so its secret recipe is a carefully guarded secret which nobody knows, including the chef.
Charcoal l’Entrecôte is a good choice for everyone who wants to be transported to the sixties’ Paris and enjoy a classy experience. This restaurant is open from noon to 11 pm and strives for excellence, using only the best, freshest ingredients. The guests will be happy to enjoy purified ice and no glutamate in their meals.
Your meal can begin with a salmon and avocado tartare starter, which combines fresh salmon with sesame oil-infused avocado and rocket salad. Follow this by a vibrantly-colored, aromatic and nutritious creamy pumpkin soup, and end your meal with twice-roasted baby pork ribs that are finished over charcoal.
A bistro-style café with an intimate mood, Charcoal l’Entrecôte features an exquisite menu of delicious Western meals, complemented by an incredible wine list. That’s why various specialists have recommended Charcoal l’Entrecôte, in magazines such as Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and Wendy Perrin’s Wow! guide.
