The Kitchen Dining is an authentic Khmer restaurant in Siem Reap where guests can enjoy a delightful fine-dining experience and sample traditional meals.
The Kitchen is unique through the rich and diverse Cambodian dishes offered and through their masterful arrangement. Chef Bora has devised an ingenious route through the Kingdom of Cambodia, taking you through seven of this country’s most prominent provinces.
You will journey through Cambodia with each dish, thus completing an intimate, cultural experience of this country.
The Kitchen celebrates a different province of Cambodia each month. This includes a prix fixe menu that features the local cuisine and speciality dishes from the region. Guests can enjoy an “à la carte” selection so gourmands can select the dishes they want to sample – whether they are in the know or not.
The Kitchen Dining uses traditional cooking techniques that give the food a special tang. The locally-sourced ingredients are combined with aromatic spices, and the experienced chefs give a modern twist to all the dishes.
This restaurant is a popular choice for locals and tourists thanks to its friendly staff and elegant setting, with tall candles on the crisply-dressed tables and immense wooden shelves on the walls. The modern décor of the Kitchen can surprisingly create a strong sense of true Cambodian atmosphere through the chosen palette of colors and the outside tropical plants.
Whether you want to enjoy a romantic dinner or dinner with your friends, the Kitchen offers healthy meals prepared with fresh ingredients at top hygiene standards. You can choose a young mango salad starter, followed by a hearty Siem Reap beef soup and a main course of Prahok Ktis, which is Tonlé Sap fish fillet simmered in coconut milk and served with fresh veggies.
To enrich your dining experience, you can choose something from the impressive wine selection, whether you want a sweet, rich white wine for the duck salad or an austere, dry wine for the fish-based meals.
